Grab a large pan, heat up some hot water, add a little salt and throw in your pasta. Keep it simmering until nice and soft and add the broccoli for the last 2 minutes.
Cook your chicken with a little oil until fully cooked. I recommend adding a little garlic salt to it if you would like !
In another pan, melt the butter and add the flour, keep stirring for a minute. Slowly whisk in the milk and broth and add your garlic powder, salt and pepper.
If you did the simpler method, melt your butter and slowly add the cheese milk and the seasonings.
Keep stirring until it starts to get thicker and bubble. Take it off the heat and add the cheese, stirring it constantly until the cheese is melted. Add the broccoli and the chicken and stir it all in. if the sauce is too thick add a little more milk (or water)

- Shop: instant Bisto cheese sauce (or similar) works just as well!
